Fire, Smoke and Water Mitigation

Many times loss adjustment begins with mitigation of water, fire and smoke damage. It is essential to understand the required processes in bringing a structure back to its pre-loss condition. We have the experience to make sure mitigation is properly done.

We start by working with the insured's mitigation contractor to minimize excessive removal and demolition. We also keep tabs on the amount of drying equipment to make sure it is appropriate for the loss.

Often the true scope of repairs cannot be fully assessed until the mitigation is complete. We will work with the needed repair professionals throughout the repair process as required.

If the insured does not have a mitigation contractor we can provide a list of several local reputable companies capable of doing the work.
